How far would you travel to learn something new?

When was the last time you stepped out of your comfort zone to try something really new?
In the past year, I have been reminded that sometimes taking a different path to get to a new place can be eye-opening. And scary. And fun.
I’m impressed with four Virginia State University students who are pushing themselves about as far out of their comfort zones as possible.
The African-American students left their college in a small town to study in the big city of Shanghai, China.
One of the students had never even flown before she headed to China. Now she and the others are thousands of miles away learning Mandarin.
Kudos to them!
What are doing to push beyond your comfort zone?

I would travel as far as my money and opportunity would take me. I applaud these students for making the journey to China. I think this trip will be exceptionally important to their futures.

    God’s Peace.
